- This is a pre-solicitation notice issued by the Contracting Officer, Normandy Interpretive Center Project, American Battle Monuments Commission. Your firm is invited to submit qualifications for the Audio/Visual (AV) production services for installation at the American Battle Monuments Commission?s (ABMC) Normandy American Cemetery Interpretive Center (NACIC) in Normandy, France. The Normandy American Cemetery Interpretive Center is a state-of-the-art facility that has been designed to complement and enhance the experience of visiting the Normandy American Cemetery. The NACIC will accomplish this task by relating the global significance and meaning of Operation Overlord, while paying tribute to the values and sacrifice of the World War II generation. The AV production will include Video, Film, Digital Photography/Graphics, Audio Recording and Software as well as other AV treatments. The selected firm will have to work closely with ABMC, Gallagher & Associates (G&A), and selected historical groups and associations all located in the vicinity of the Washington DC area. The NACIC will be moving into its new building in the spring of 2007 and the exhibits will open to the public in June 2007. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is being issued and reviewed by the ABMC as well as by the Exhibit Design firm, Gallagher & Associates (G&A). The main purpose of the RFQ is to acquire clear, concise ?snapshots? of potential firms, including capabilities and relevant experience described by the firms themselves. Brevity is encouraged. Please include the following: ? A history of the firm and design expertise ? Relevant experience (i.e. contents similar to this project) ? References ? names, addresses, and contact information for three main references. ? Description of capabilities ? Senior personnel (name, title, brief summary of background and experience) ? Design and development process ? Standard marketing materials ? Any other relevant information Information may be sent by post, express delivery, or e-mail attachment.
