Description

The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price commercial contract to Thermo Eberline LLC, d/b/a Thermo Electron, RM&P, 5981 Airport Road, Santa Fe, NM 87507-2832 for 5 each identiFINDER Nal/?He Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) kits commonly known, as the Digital Gamma Spectrometers for use by the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Mobile Unit Two, Norfolk, VA. (See numbered note 22). The sole source contract action will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 ? Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The required delivery date is projected to be 15 August 2005. A complete description of the EOD kits will be included in the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 334519. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
