Description

The United States Army Communications and Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to award a five (5) year Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract for the procurement of 4-cylinder 30 kilowatt (kw), 92 Horsepower (HP) turbo diesel engines in accordance with Drawing Number, 96-23579, NSN: 2815-01-462-2289 and 6-cylinder 60 kilowatt (kw), 134 Horsepower (HP) turbo diesel engines in accordance with Drawing Number, 96-23580, NSN: 2815-01-4 62-3596. Items on the contract will be ordered by individual delivery orders. Each delivery order will set forth all requirements, delivery schedule, shipping instructions and the applicable price. This procurement is limited to manufacturers that are a lso authorized John Deere distributors. This Solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Solicitation number assigned is W15P7T-05-R-F-822. The delivery schedule shall begin 180 days after contract award. Early delivery at no additional cost to the Government is encouraged. The items will be shipped to the New Cumberland Facility, New Cumberland, PA and other locations designated by order. The shipments are FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance FOB Source. Packaging shall be in accordanc e with MIL-STD-2073 and Note 6, Level A and Marking in accordance with MI-STD-129 and Note 7. Also the Solicitation will be posted on the Interactive Business Opportunities Web Page (IBOP) on or about 08 July 2005. Drawings will be posted to the IBOP wit h the solicitation. Submission of Bids will be due on or about 08 August 2005. Please refer to the solicitation for additional details. The U.S. Army C-E LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow elect ronic posting of Solicitations for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and Invitation for Bids (IFBs) from C-E LCMC to Industry.
