Description

The Government intends to procure assorted accessories for the XTVA transportable base for the XTS5000 VHF portable radios made by Motorola. These accessories are brand name Motorola parts or components because the items must be compatible in all respects with existing systems presently installed and the equipment is especially designed by Motorola with no data available to assure that the parts will perform the same function in the equipment. Delivery for the resulting firm fixed purchase order will be on or before 29 July 2005. The proposed requirement will be awarded in accordance with FAR 13. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 24 June 2005 by downloading http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Only Motorola parts will be acceptable. This applicable NAICS code is 517212. All responsible sources must submit pricing data by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation is and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available for downloading at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended or debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contract from a Federal Agency. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award.
