Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement is posted as a request for quotation (RFQ). This notice is a small business set-aside for the procurement of Varian PaxScan 4030R amorphous silicon X-Ray Detector, quan tity of one each. Acquisition includes all cables to include data, hardware, and data acquisition card to interface with EXISTING FlashCT DAQ workstation and FlashCT-DAQ software, protective shielding for electronics, and detector and shielding stand. Al so required is a one-day installation and basic training on-site. Pricing should be F.O.B. Destination Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. Express warranty terms and conditions with offer. Descriptive literature is required. Must be compatible with exis ting PaxScan equipment, i.e. FlashCT DAQ. Offerors are also required to submit a proposed delivery schedule. Offer must be not deviate from that described above. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at Clause 52.21203, Offeror Represe ntations and Certifications, Commercial Items. Applicable clauses are 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items, Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items. Evaluati on factors and relative importance of those factors are in accordance with FAR Part 13, which states that offers shall be evaluated in accordance with the technical capability, price and past performance. Vendors not registered in the CCR database prior to award will not be considered for award.
