- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate grades Pre- Kinder through 12 tuition cost on a sole-source basis with Caribbean School, Inc., 1689 Calle Navarra Urb, La Rambla, Ponce, Puerto Rico. The Contractor shall provide educational services from Pre-kinder up to 12th grade. The Contractor shall provide a school curriculum to include Pre-kinder to 12th grade for developing cognitive skills in math, science, language, social studies, arts, health, and technology implemented by a qualified faculty. The school shall provide a college preparatory program of academic excellence through instruction in the English language with special emphasis on the teaching and learning of Spanish. The period of performance is August 01, 2005 through May 31, 2006. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611110, ?Elementary and Secondary Schools?. The proposed requirement is for educational services in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one responsible source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), ?Soliciting from a Single Source.? The procurement document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Responses are due June 30, 2005.
