- The reference to Numbered Note 22 was inadvertently omitted from this announcement of June 13, 2005. Numbered Note 22 is hereby referenced and the Contracting Officer, in light of the commercial nature of the items in question, hereby reduces the forty-five (45) day period referred to in Numbered Note 22 to twenty (20) days. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of the Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence and Space (C4I and Space), intends to extend the period of performance on Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) N00039-03-A-0001 with Dell Marketing L.R (Dell), Round Rock, Texas, to deliver workstations, laptops, and printers (herein referred to as equipment) in support of PEO C4I and Space and the United States Navy. The equipment will be used afloat and ashore in support of classified and unclassified C4I networks. The period of performance extension will begin October 1, 2005 and continue through 31 March 2006. This request is considered to be sole source to Dell Marketing L.P. and no solicitation will result from this announcement. This action is intended as a ???bridge??? to provide time to award a competitive contract during the first quarter of FY06 for workstations, laptops and peripherals. The Government intends to issue a competitive solicitation for a follow-on contract for these items in the third quarter of 2005.
