Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; prop osals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award this requirement on a Sole Source basis to Long Building Environments, 4689 South Cherry Street, Murray, UT 84123 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only one re sponsible source. (ii) The Solicitation Number is W911S6-05-T-0048. This is not a request for competitive quotes, however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered and is being issued as a RFQ. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-4. (iv) N/A (v) The following is a list of the contract line number and items, quantities and unit of measure: DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: Each Filter Blower System includes the following items: a. Inlet Transition w/12 Inlet  10 ID, 10.75 OD b. Inlet Test Housing  TSI-2H1W-GG-304-D1 c. HEPA Housing  BF1-2H1W-GGF-304-D1 d. Combination Test Housing  TSC-2H1W-GG-304-D1 e. HEPA Housing  BF1-2H1W-GG16-304-D1 f. Outlet Test Housing  TSO-2H1W-GG-304-D1 g. Outlet Transition w/Flange h. Dampers  DLLM-FB-304-12 i. Two 2000 CFM @ 3 Redundant Fans j. Two Independent VFDs w/Start Circuits k. Base to allow Mounting to Customers Cat-Walk l. Four Static Pressure Taps m. Two Magnehelic Gages Installed n. HEPAS  T-007-W-43-05-IU-51-00-GG-FU5 o. Carbon Adsorbers  AF-GG16-62-AS Dual 3HP/208V VFD Fan Control. Each panel includes: (1) Yaskawa VFD, (2) door mounted programmable controller, (3) lead/lag 2 position switch, (4) thru-door MCP main disconect, (5) mounting of magnahelic gages, (6) differential pressure sensors & controll ers, (7) LED lights and operation as required, (8) controller power transformer  460:120Vac and 120:24Vac, (9) forced air ventilated NEMA and (10) Start-up and field comssioning w/2 week notification. Note: ETL listed and labeled to meet UL508 standards. Two copies of O&M manuals/systems included. One year warranty on all DTS supplied equipment and workmanship. Three year extended warranty on Yaskawa VFD w/DTS start-up. CLIN Number 0001 / Quantity is for two (2) Filter Blower Systems. (vi) Description of Requirements: N/A (vii) Date of Delivery: Not later than 22 August 2005. Place of Delivery: US Army, Dugway Proving Ground, Dugway, UT 84022. FOB Destination. Acceptance/Inspection: 7 Days. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition to the extent consistent with a sole source acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: None. (ix) N/A (x) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this clause: None.
