Wolfe Ave., Edwards AFB, CA 93524 SUBJECT: Kineto Tracking Mounts REF NO.: FA9302-05-P-E138 DUE: 27 JUN 2005 POC: Mary Uptergrove, 661-275-7819 (fax) DESC: The 412 Test Wing/PKD, Edwards AFB intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Weibel Scientific A/S, Solvang 30, Allerod 3450, DENMARK. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 334511. The following item will be procured: This acquisition is to acquire (1 Lot) of RP-2100 to RTP-2100 Real Time Processor upgrade - (Kineto Tracking Mounts (LTM-A) Modifications). This new RTP-2100 sub-system is designed to the exact form, fit, and function as our existing radar system. It is paramount that this sub-system will satisfy our requirements and operate on software proprietary to Weible. Weible is the original maker of our existing radar system. Weible is the only known source that can satisfy the Government?s requirement of upgrade, on-site preparation, training, and technical support. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is June 21, 2005. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, June 27, 2005. Responses should be submitted to: Directorate of Contracting, 412 TW/PKD (Attn: Mary Uptergrove), 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Building 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185, Fax: (661) 275-7819). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 8 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
