Description

DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Federal Edge, Inc 1735 Spruce St Riverside CA 92507. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 343111. The following item will be procured: Rackmount Dual Opteron Powerwulf Cluster - PSSC Labs Dual Opteron PowerWulf part #FE-PS-248-42 (CLIN 1), Overland Storage, LoaderXpress, 2.2/4.4 TB, 1 LTO-2 drive, 11 slots, RM, 216 GB/hr., LVD/SE part #OV-LXL101008 (CLIN 2), Arkeia Network Backup-Backup Server for Linux part # ARK-BK5-LINUX (CLIN 3), Certance LT02 200/400 Data Cartridge, qty 10 part #CLM400 (CLIN 4), Imation LTO Universal Cleaning Cartridge, qty 1 part #15931 (CLIN 5) Shipping and Handling for product to Edwards AFB CA 93524 (CLIN 6) Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical quote, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is June 16, 2005. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, June 10, 2005. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
