Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supervision and incidentals to perform improvements at Powerhouse Boat Ramp, Hiwassee River. Work includes removal of existing boat ramp, steps, and other items as shown in the Drawings. Construct a 20-foot wide concrete ramp, timbered areas, and walkways as shown on the Drawings. There will be 2 each 20? x 8? x 8? thick precast slabs that will be incorporated into the section on the boat ramp that will be below the water level. Contract time is 90 calendar days. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. PROJECT LOCATION: Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger District, Cherokee National Forest, in Polk County, Tennessee. Project is located approximately 4 miles east of Reliance, TN off Hood Mountain Road (Forest Service Road), in the Powerhouse Day Use Area on the Hiwassee River in Polk County, TN. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: This solicitation, SAZ RFQ 04-05-29, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation and will be available for downloading on or about June 28, 2005 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Interested Vendor. The Interested Vendor?s list will be the only Bidders? List maintained for this procurement. All vendors are required to be registered in CCR (Central Contractor Registration database) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Vendors must also be registered in ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications) prior to contract award, and may accomplish this on the Internet at http://www.bpn.gov. You must be registered in CCR and have an MPIN number before you can begin ORCA registration.
