Description

The contractor shall furnish all depot levels labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, and materials to Overhaul the Control Module. Input NSNs/PNs: 1680-01-206-1273/6110-200 and 1680-01-258-7001/6110-201, Output NSN/PN: 1680-01-258-7001/6110-201. The proposed contractual action will be a five-year, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity is 109 each, maximum quantity 583 each(20% of the total is FMS). This requirement is restricted to C ox and Company, Inc., 200 Varick Street, New York 10014-4810 as they are the only know source of repair data , knowledge, expertise and test equipment required to overhaul/repair for the AH-64 Control Module Assembly. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)( 1) FAR 6.302-1. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Comprehensive Automated Process for Source Approval (CAPSAR). These procedures are outline d at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, (256)313-1597, fax(256)313-1556, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. All respo nsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. There will be no telephone or e-mail requests for proposals accepted. Request will be by data fax to (256) 313-8194 or mailed only to, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LM-M, JUANITA VANCE, Contract S pecialist. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solic itation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. See Note 22.
