Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor will perform heavy maintenance for the Ocoee Whitewater Center building facility. Work involves exterior cleaning of all wood, stone, steel, and concrete surfaces as well as repainting, repairs, and reconditioning of these surfaces as specified. Included are the painting of the Cable-Stayed Bridge and River-Right Trail Bridge handrails, the replacement of wood handrail caps, stone wall repairs, flagstone walking surface repairs, and various other reconditioning items. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 PROJECT LOCATION: Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger District, Polk County, TN. Project is located at Ocoee Whitewater Center, 4400 Hwy 64, Copperhill, TN 37317. Drive approximately 25 miles east of Cleveland, TN on Hwy 64 to project site. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: This solicitation, SAZ IFB 04-05-25, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as an Invitation for Bid and will be available for downloading on or about June 27, 2005 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A pre-bid visit date will be listed in the solicitation. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Interested Vendor. The Interested Vendor?s list will be the only Bidders? List maintained for this procurement. All vendors are required to be registered in CCR (Central Contractor Registration database) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Vendors must also be registered in ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications) prior to contract award, and may accomplish this on the Internet at http://www.bpn.gov. You must be registered in CCR and have an MPIN number before you can begin ORCA registration.
