Description

In support of the U.S. Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka detachment Sasebo, the Fleet Industrial Supply Puget Sound is procuring 2 each (1 each port side, 1 each starboard side) roller curtain doors, for LSD-49. This action is conducted in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5. The resulting contract is anticipated to be of the firm fixed price type. The doors are to be shipped to Travis Air Force Base, California, 94535. The required delivery date is within 70 days after contract award. This action is to be negotiated on a sole source basis with the manufacturer, Oldenburg Lake Shore Company of Iron Mountain, Michigan, per FAR 6.302-1. The applicable allowance parts list (APL) number is 598880078 and manufacturer drawing number is 5D5-03504. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
