Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Boulder City Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to purchase a custom built boat from one of the distributors of the manufacturer, Custom Weld Boats. This manufacturer is able to provide all the features and craftsmanship needed to operate anywhere on the Colorado River under any conditions in a safe manner. This boat is designed to operate in about 6 inches of water safely. It features a radius designed hull giving a safer handling boat in shallow, swift running water. This boat also provides enough storage and deck space to conduct a multiple of tasks. It is designed for heavy pay loads and a shallow draft. The bottom is .250 aluminum, with a lifetime hull warranty, 2 year engine warranty and 1 year jet pump warranty. The specifications for this boat are as follows: hull center length - 23 feet; beam - 102 inches; bottom width - 78 inches; bottom thickness - .250 inches; side height - 34 inches; side thickness - .125 inches; inside freeboard - 29 inches; standard dead rise - 11 degrees; lifting strakes - 4; fuel capacity - 100 gal; engine size - 8.1 liter 375 hp V-8, w/2 year warranty; jet pump - Hamilton 212, w/1 year warranty; 3 window, welded walk-thru windshield; 3/4 canvas cover; recessed bow with self-bailing scuppers; bow and stern rails, heavy duty bow guard; color - off white; high deck over engine compartment; full swim deck and heavy duty dive ladder; 2 marine spring ride seats; horn; 2 rear sleeper seats on aluminum storage box; dual batteries w/isolation switch; anchor chalk and cleat; rack and pinion steering; dual windshield wipers; complete closed cooling system; inline mufflers; engine compartment blower; fuel and water separator; bilge system, auto and manual; running and anchor lights. Trailer Specifications: Surge brakes; stainless steel disc all 4 wheels; galvanized tandem; torsion suspension; winch; radial heavy duty ties 15 inches; inner fender covers; carpeted V-block; 10,000 gvwr; load guides heavy duty; led lighting; and spare tire rack. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 336612 and the size standard is NTE 500 employees. The anticipated award date is June 15, 2005.
