Description

Project Title & Location: Suisun Bay Channel & Pinole Shoal Channel Maintenance Dredging, Contra Costa County, California. This procurement is an Unrestricted IFB. Job Description: The work consists of maintenance dredging of Suisun Bay Channel and Pinole Shoal Channel of approximately 160,000 and 100,400 cubic yards of materials, res pectively, to provide a project authorized depth, -35 feet plus 1 foot allowable over-depth, and disposing of the dredged materials in the designated ocean disposal sites at SF-16 and SF-10, respectively. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted unde r NAICS Code 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $17.0 Million. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The recommended goals for subcontracting are: Small Business: 50.9%, Small Disadvantaged Business: 8.8%, Women-Owned Sma ll Business: 7.2%, HUBZone Small Business: 2.9%, and Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business: 0.5%. The acquisition method is Invitation for Bids (IFB). ORDERING PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Division Internet Home Page at http: //ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ for downl oading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for download from this website. It is important that you first go to this website and under Contracting Division homepage click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to Plan Holder Registration. This will require you to establish a user name an d password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization who is responsible for registering your firm on planholders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password you can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However, you can only do this by using your initial user name and password.
