Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Rate Tachometer Assembly, NSN 11220-01-019-4545, P/N 11732700 for the M60A3 Tank has very complex components and subassembly major components to include, castings, housings, caps, numerous ball bearings, covers, wheels, clamp s, resistors, gears, shaft assembly, pinoins, schims, washers and screws. Requirements are 79 each. Small Business Set-aside. FOB DESTINATION. Proposed contract will be a firm-fixed price that will include two 100% Options. Requires First Article Test . Item contains one source control drawing for a down part with no qualification procedure in place. All or part of this action is an unfunded FY05 requirement. Estimated issue date is 21 Jun 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in acc ordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date be accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index. htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render y our bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
