PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION IS 24 JUN 2005. Machine Bolt: NSN 5306-01-176-8735; P/N 12323920. End item M1 Tank Family. Fastener length 2.750 inches nominal; grip length 0.500 inches nominal; head height 0.607 inch es nominal; thread diameter 1.000 inches nominal; thread length 2.250 inches nominal; thread class 1-8 UNRC-2A. Material: Alloy steel to conform to the chemical and mechanical requirements of federal specification FF-S-85, Grade 8. Requirements are 2200 each. FOB DESTINATION. Source Control drawing to SPS Technologies, Cage 56878 or Lake Erie Screw Corp, Cage 88911. Qualification procedures available only for the lowest bidder actually manufacturing this bolt. The Anci bolt cannot be used for this item. Solicitation unrestricted. Proposed contract will be a firm-fixed price that will include 100% Options for a peri od of 3 years. All or part of this action is an unfunded FY05 requirement. Estimated issue date is 24 Jun 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore hard copies will not be provided.
