Description

The USDA Forest Service intends to award a contract for furnishing all labor, supervision, materials other than Government furnished, and transportation necessary to install helical piers for the Lake Owen boardwalk. The project shall consist of 32 sets of 2 helical piers spaced approximately 6' apart for a total of 64 piers. Each set of piers will be typically 12? apart. The 372? length of the project will be divided into two straight-line sections with an approximately 22-degree bend in the middle. This project is located on the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow/Routt National Forests approximately 30 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming, T14N, R79W, Sections 25 and 36. To access Lake Owen from Laramie, take State Highway 130 west to State Highway 11. South on Highway 11 then south on Forest road 311 to Forest road 517. West on 517 to 540 then south on 540 to Lake Owen. The project NAICS is 237310 and the Size Standard is Not to Exceed $28,500,000. The estimated start date is July, 2005. Contract duration will be 30 days. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System. The solicitation is available for full and open competition. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be published at www.fedbizopps.gov on June 22, 2005, and will state the offer due date.
