Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This action will be processed using simplified acquisition procedures. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is an education activity and qualifies for academic/educational pricing. DESCRIPTION: DoDEA requires Windows XP Professional Upgrade with Software Assurance. The following clauses/provisions apply to this solicitation and are in effect through FAC 2005-03, Effective 11 Apr 2005, Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and DCN 20050524: FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer; FAR 52.243-1, Changes-Fixed-Price; and FAR 52.249-4, Termination for Convenience of the Government. The following DFAR provisions are hereby incorporated by reference: DFARS 252.243-7001, Pricing of Contract Modifications; 252.204-7004, Alternative A. FSC Code: 7030, ADP Software. NAICS Code: 443120, Computer and Software Stores. Size Standard: 7.5M. CLIN 0001: Windows XP Professional Upgrade W/Software Assurance. 4537 each @ __________. The following items shall be submitted in writing, to the address shown above, by 1:00 p.m. EST, 17 June 05: 1) Quote, 2) TIN number, 3) DUNS Number, and 4) CAGE code. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive an award with the DoD. All questions must be submitted by email. Quotes received after the due date and time will not be considered for award with DOD.
