Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) plans to issue a Time and Materials task order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-04-G-0007 to Bell-Boeing for V-22 aircraft parts obsolescence and reliability and maintainability (R&M) trade studies. The purpose of the trade studies is to address emerging parts obsolescence and R&M issues identified through fleet use and ongoing testing in order to reduce total program risk, improve planning and integration, and lower life cycle costs. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer and producer of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft and is the only known source with the required technical expertise and data to meet the Government?s needs.
