Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for training of a commercial service IAW FAR part 12.6. This announcement constitutes the second solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This request fo r quotation (RFQ) number is W912CZ-05-T-0038. (iii) This RFQ and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-18. (iv) This is a Small Business set aside for NAICS: 315999 (v) NAICS size stan dard: 500 employees. This RFQ contains one line item: 600 each. Tactical Tailor Drop Bag brand or equal equivalent model. Drop Bag is for holding empty magazines or demolition charges. The bag must have: an adjustable belt hanger, minimum of two remova ble leg straps. The bag must be able to be worn on a belt. Bag will be designed to minimize items accidentally falling out. Webbing on the sides for mounting of additional accessories. Bag will be constructed of two-ply fabric, include weight of fabric to be used in quote. Double stitching shall be used throughout. Fabric is OD green. Dimensions are 8.5 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Pricing should include shipping to Ft. Wainwright, Alaska 99703. Delivery is required to Ft. Wainwr ight, Alaska by 22 July 2005. Contractor shall provide adequate information (technical specifications of materials, materials lists and properties, photos, diagrams, etc) with the quote to provide the government adequate information to evaluate technical acceptability of the items. (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition, along with the following addenda. (viii) Offers will be evaluated using the following evaluation factors technical acceptable, price and delivery time. Th e contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the government. (ix) All offers must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (x) The clause at 52.212-4, Brand Name or Equal, 52.212-1, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition along with the following addenda: 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. The following two factors will be used to evaluate offers: 1) Technical ly acceptable will be approximately twice as important as price. 2) Price: 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations (Apr 2002). All offers must include a completed copy of this provision. (xi) 252.204-7004.
