Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is F2P3L25146A100 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-14. This acquisition is unrestricted. The U.S. Air Force 48th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order for: CLIN 0001:. Contractor shall provide all materials, transport, labor, etc. to supply a heat treatment system, fully installed and licensed, in accordance with ISPM15; Specifications of system required. Dimensions required will allow for a stack of lumber up to 16ft long and 48" wide, and crates up to 8ft tall. Dolly system from external of Kiln to allow for lumber to be loaded and transported inside Kiln. Door of system must allow for items up to 4' wide and 8' high to be loaded into kiln; internal must accept lumber up to 16 ft long. Automated Heat treatment program that controls core temperature of wood, then moves automatically to a cooling process and ventilation. System MUST be fully licensed by company at time of installation to UKAS Calibration requirements, and latest revisions of ISPM15. System of calibration must be fully portable to allow for external calibration. Doors of system and external structure to be in accordance with base color policy. System must be complete with its own plant/boiler room, and fuel tank connected and installed in accordance with base CE policy and safey. Please include Installation and delivery in total price. Delivery date for all items: 6-10 weeks after date of receipt of contract. Deliver to Building 1035, RAF Lakenheath, Brandon, Suffolk IP27 9PN Far provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: paragraphs (h) and (i) of this provision do not apply and change paragraph (c) from 30 calendar days to 60 calendar days. Far provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: Paragraph (a) is filled in with (1) Price, (2) Delivery, and (3) warranty/return policy for nametag errors; paragraph (b) does not apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, without addenda, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, without addenda, applies to this acquisition (including: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222.37and 52.232-33). DFARS provisions at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items; DFAR 252.229-7000, Invoices Exclusive of Taxes and Duties; and 252.229-7001, Tax Relief. All FAR AND DFARS clauses, in full text, can be found at URL http://farsite.hill.af.mil. NOTICE: REFERENCE DFARS CLAUSE 252.204-7004, "REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION". AS OF 31 MAY 1998, ALL CONTRACTORS WISHING TO DO BUSINESS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE ARE REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRY. IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO REGISTER AND/OR CONFIRM THAT ALL INFORMATION IN THE REGISTRY IS ACCURATE AND COMPLETE.
