Description

Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to construct "Renovate Morgue /Install Bio Safety Cabinets". Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items as required by the specifications and drawings. The NAICS code is 236220/size standard is $28.5 million. Cost range is $100,000-$250,000. Solicitation documents will be issued and available for download ON OR ABOUT 6/20/05, with a Bid Due Date, of approximately 7/21/05, at 3:00PM local time. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 7/07/05, at 2:00 PM local time in Building T-6 conference room, at the VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Arched Rd., Gainesville, FL. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. (see numbered note 29) Award is subject to availability of funds. Hard copies of solicitation will not be available. Electronic solicitations may be obtained FREE at the following URL:http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Drawings will be available electronically with the solicitation or can be requested in writing from the Contracting Officer. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. It is recommended that bidders complete the solicitation mailing list on the web site before downloading the solicitation. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging amendments to the solicitation. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the referenced web site.
