- Refer to numbered notes 12, and 26; The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 39 nsns that are transportation equipment items; The major FSCs are 2510, 2520, 2530, 2540, 2590, 2805, 2815, and 2590; solicitation number is SP0750-05-R-3762; This proposed procurement will be for a written indefinite quantity contract (IQC) and will contain an option clause to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total contract period shall not exceed five years ? (base year plus 4 one year option periods). The solicitation is an unrestricted acquisition with other than full and open competition ; The solicitation will be FOB destination and delivery will be made to locations specified in the solicitation; Increments and delivery schedules will be noted in the request for proposal (RFP); no data is available; Inspection/acceptance requirements will be noted in the RFP; the issue date is approximately 20 Jun 2005 and the closing date is approximately 20 Jul 2005; copies of the solicitation are posted to the following website and will be available on the issue date of the solicitation: http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp and the PIDs are posted to the internet at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp as of the issue date. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. It is the responsibility of the offeror to obtain the additional data that is necessary to manufacture the item and provide this evidence to the Government.; While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
