Description

The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division (NAVAIR AD) has a requirement to modify Contract Number N00421-01-D-0024 with National Technologies Associates, Inc. (NTA) to provide additional warehouse and material control support in Norfolk, VA, Beaufort, SC, Mayport, FL, JACKSONVILLE, FL and Orange Park, FL. The type of efforts supported by this contract are: transporting ?A?, ?F?, and ?M? condition aircraft and engine components to and between repair shops within the Depot, managing warehouse operations, performing cross-service receipts/Foreign Military Sales receipts, performing TF-34/F404 and other cross-service engine inductions, processing Depot-Level Repairable Inductions (?F? condition components), maintaining and performing tool box inventories, performing NIF storeroom management functions, performing production control services, performing supply technician services, and performing cycle inventory functions. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this modification is 561210. The additional performance under N00421-01-D-0024 will be for a period of three months commencing 1 July 2005. NTA is the only contractor with the specialized experience in utilizing the NADEP Jacksonville unique Material Resource Planning (MRP) software necessary to perform the functions under this contract. Any other company would need time to familiarize itself with the MRP software before it would be able to provide the necessary services during which time the NADEP would suffer a lapse in service.
