Description
The U.S. Army, ARDEC at Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. has an immediate requirement to procure a basic contract quantity of 318 each STINGER M934E6 Fuzes to support a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case. Additional future FMS options for a possible total quantity of 2766 each. The M934E6 Fuze is a complex electromechanical assembly integrating hybrid microelectronics, advanced inertial and centrifugal components and electro-explosive devices into a single fuze package. The M934E6 Fuze must interface with the M258E6 Warhead Section and missile guidance section and flight motor. The M934E6 Fuzes are to be manufactured and first article and Lot Acceptance tested in accordance with Technical Data Package 9297066, Titled: Fuze, Guided Missile, M934E6. The period of performance for the basic contract award will be 7 months to provide First Article samples and initial lot delivery in 9 months. Potential candidates must have the production line manufacturing tooling, inspection fixtures, automated computer controlled in-process assembly and Lot Acceptance Test equipment stations, technical knowledge and expertise to required to fulfill this requirement within the necessary delivery timeframe. All responding sources shall provide a summary of their company's capabilities including organizations, name/address/point of contact identification, a description of facilities/equipment, manufacturing process, inspection capability, personnel, past experience as a missile fuze producer, proven monthly production capacity, possible partnering/teaming arrangements; and whether the company is a small or large business. All responding sources must submit their responses no later than 17 June 2005 to US Army TACOM-ARDEC, ATTN: Miss. Monica Escalante, AMSTA-AQ-APC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. Responses can also be submitted by email to mescal@pica.army.mil. Large files need to be compressed using WinZip (http://www.winzip.com).
