- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please refer to Request for Quote Number: _W912CZ-05-T-0053_. The provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-26. The requirement is an open market solicitation for SIC Code: 3161; NAICS Code: 316991; Size Standard: 500. Closing date is 13 June 2005 at 10:00 am (1000 hours) Central Daylight Time. Product requested is as follows in CLIN 1: 800 each, Description: Israeli Mossad d uffle bag or equal equivalent model. Tactical duffle bag shall be ruggedly constructed with the following features: heavy-weight material (22oz duck canvas or equivalent), with a waterproof bottom, padded shoulder straps, 3 zippered outside pockets, an in side security pouch, extra-long reinforced carry handles, gear-lashing rings, ID card holder, 3 end-pouches and overall dimensions shall be at least 34 inches x 15 inches x 12 inches. Color of bag shall be: OLIVE DRAB. FAR and DFARS Clauses and Provisions: 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors; 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer i s the best value to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1) Technically acceptable, which is approximately twice as important as price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished t o the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
