Description

The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia Division (FISC) intends to solicit for Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) program support services in support of the Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS) located in Millington, TN. The requirement is to provide BUPERS with technical assessment, analytical, planning, program management, information security and network/software engineering services for the purpose of developing the required technical solutions to consolidate, migrate and eliminate the remaining legacy networks, servers and desktops resulting from BUPERS transition to NMCI as well as to support NMCI Desktop Technical Refreshment throughout BUPERS? Area of Responsibility (AOR). It is anticipated that the Navy will solicit for a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a 12-month base period and four 12-month options. Interested vendors will be asked to submit cost and technical proposals. The evaluation of proposals will consider the vendor?s technical proposal more important than the vendor?s cost/price proposal. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 541513 with a size standard of $21 million. In accordance with FAR 6.203, this requirement is being solicited as a set aside exclusively for the participation of small businesses. This solicitation shall be posted on or after 18 July 2005 at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (www.neco.navy.mil).
