Description
Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa Florida, intends to award a sole source contract to ENCAP SYSTEMS CORP., for un-bonded stucco repairs utilizing their patented ?Encapseal? process for moisture intrusion deterrence. As such, the VA is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES (PARTICULARLY SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED), capable and interested in providing moisture intrusion prevention techniques and services at the Department of Veterans' Affairs, VA Brevard County Outpatient Clinic located at 2900 Veterans Way, Viera, FL. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, equipment, travel, expertise and supervision to remove and repair all un-bonded stucco surfaces in selected areas, and re-seal with anti-moisture intrusion product, matching existing surface texture and color. Minimum ten (10) year warranty is required. A minimum of 5% of product attic stock is required. The anticipated performance period is 01 July 2005 through 15 August 2005. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 36. The NAICS Code is 238140 and the size standard is $12.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if potential alternatives exists in the small business community in order to compete this requirement as a set-aside for small business concerns. All qualified and interested parties are encouraged to participate. Please provide notice of your interest in this requirement by responding to this notice no later than 2:30 p.m. EST, 10 June 2005, EST. Indicate business size, DUNS number, capability statement along with other pertinent information about your business, detailed technical data on the product/process proposed to prevent moisture intrusion, and specific experience in the requirement listed.
