Description: The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center MS intends to negotiate only with RD Instruments Corporation of San Diego, California for the purchase of 5 each Deep Water Doppler Current Profilers and 8 each Outer Shelf Doppler Current Profilers. The profilers have profiling depths of 400 meters for the Deep Water DCP and 100 meters for the Outer Shelf DCP. Both profilers are constructed with four transducers at 90 degrees azimuth and are constructed of a single pressure vessel which includes all hardware, transducers, batteries and electronics.
