- Posting of Questions and Answers for Reference#05-193-4818 Question 1: Is the breaker listed in item #002 a bolt-in or draw-out circuit breaker? (different Cat # for each) Answer 1: The breaker is an air draw-out circuit. Question 2: Is the breaker listed in item #003 a bolt-in or draw-out circuit breaker? (different Cat # for each) Answer 2: The breaker is an air draw-out circuit. Question 3: Is there a correction to the requested current sensor size for line item #004? 1200/1800 current sensors would not be installed on this frame circuit breaker from the OEM. 1600/800 current sensors are the largest for this frame circuit breaker? Answer 3: Carriere retrofit kits shall provide this information. Question 4: What is the requested current sensor size for line item #005? 3000/2000A current sensors are the largest for this frame circuit breaker? Answer 4: Carriere retrofit kits shall provide this information. Question 5: What is the requested current sensor size for line item #006? 1600/800A current sensors are the largest for this frame circuit breaker? Answer 5: Carriere retrofit kits shall provide this information. Question 6: What is the requested current sensor size for line item #0007? 600/300A current sensors are the largest for this frame circuit breaker? Answer 6: Carriere retrofit kits shall provide this information. Question 7: For the Carriere retrofit kits, the FB600 series relay is now obsolete and is now supports the Digital 600 series. Will there be a problem if I quote the Digital 600 in place of the FB600? Answer 7: The old carriere retrofit kit style numbers shall convey the new style retrofit kits until the end of 2005. Digital 600 in place of the FB600 should not affect the price of the kits. Question 8: Per the Cuttler-Hammer specs, To quote for the DBs, I need the following: a) single or three position? b) Manual or electric operated? c) What function on programmer? d) Rating plug amperage? Answer 8: This requirement is for Carriere retrofit kits for Westinghouse and General Electric circuit breakers not Cutler-Hammer Digitrip RMS retrofit kits. Question 9: For the GE Air Draw Circuit Breakers, are they electrically operated or manually operated? Answer 9: The GE Air Draw Circuit Breakers are they electrically operated.
