Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Research Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center (RDECOMAC) intends to buy fifty two (52) each Vidicon Tubes. Product must meet the specifications contained in the provided NSNs. The contract will be firm fixed price. This action is a full and open competition and is unrestricted as to business size. The NAICS code for this action is 334411. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issue d. Interested sources are encouraged to identify themselves in writing to the Contract Specialist. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91CRB-05-T-0083. Requirement is for Vidicon Tubes, NSN 5821-01-331-2555 45 each and NSN 5821-01-221-6050 7 ea ch. MPD, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of these tubes. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement, FMS Case GR-B-BEC; purchase request BGR0425112Y002. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Origin, Contractors Facility. Quoted price should no t include delivery. Shipping will be handled by the Freight Forwarder. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on price and delivery schedule. While delivery is more important than price, award will be made to the offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certificat ions--Commercial Items, must be provided with offers.
