Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: Provide personnel, management, and any other items and services, not government furnished, necessary to perform the functions of a Museum Receptionist and/or Custer House guide at Fort Riley, Kansas 66442. The Contractor shall support the Museum Divi sion to include, but not limited to, operation of the U.S. Cavalry Museum, Fort Riley Regimental Museums and Custer House by providing general information to the visitor and maintaining oversight and physical security of exhibit galleries during operation. The Contractor shall provide staffing for the museum on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The following holidays the museum is closed and staffing is not required: Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. The Contractor shall staff the Custer House Monday through Sunday starting from the Saturday preceeding Memorial Day and continuing through Labor Day. After Labor Day, the Contractor shall staff the Custer House on weekends until the end of September. Contractor support resumes, then, the fol lowing Memorial Day weekend as stated above. The Museum and the Custer House shall be phyically attended the entire time while open. Since the Museum and the Custer House are not co-located, the Contractor shall provide at least one person for each locati on during the times when both are open simultaneously. Contract is expected to start 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 with 3 option years. Solicitation is expected to be available beginning on or about 13 June 2005. Contract is subject to availabil ity of funds. NO DOCUMENTS FOR THIS SOLICITA-TION WILL BE MAILED NOR WILL TELEPHONIC REQUESTS BE ACCEPTED.
