- In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B, B.1), dated May 29, 2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a streamlined competition on the planner estimator services commercial activity function performed at the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service (PBS), Great Lakes Region, located at various field offices in South Central Michigan. PBS provides for the Federal Government?s real property needs by leasing, building and maintaining Federal office space. Government personnel consisting of 1 commercial activity FTEs represent the incumbent service provider located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. Prospective offers are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, NO SOLICITAITON SHOULD BE ANTICIPATED, AND PROPOSALS ARE THEREFORE NOT REQUESTED. The estimated work years will consist of a base year and four option years. The designated Competitive Sourcing Official is, J. David Hood, Assistant Regional Administrator for the PBS. His point of contact is Dan Krudop. The responsible Contracting Officer is Cecilia Saylor, and the Agency Tender Official is Kenneth Kunesh. The projected end date of this competition is August 23, 2005.
