Description

COORS SANITARY SEWER VACUUM PUMP STATION, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The proposed procurement is unrestricted, open to both large and small business concerns. NAICS is 237110/SIC 1623, with a size standard of $28,500,000.00. The magnitude of con struction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Bidders attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 10 June 2005, with bid opening on or about 12 July 2005. Large business firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan with the following minimum goals: 50.9% for small business; 8.8% for small disadvantaged business; 7.2% for women-owned small business; 2.9% for HUBZone small business; and 0.5% for service-disabled veteran-owned small business. Bidders are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the ava ilability of funds. THE PROJECT CONSISTS of the construction of a vacuum and sewage pump station that consists of vacuum pumps and storage tanks housed in a 25 ft X 40 ft masonry building and sewage pumps placed in a wet well. The vacuum and pump stations will have four 430  DFM Vacuum pumps; two centrifugal sewage pumps; two 1500 gallon steel collection tanks; and other valves, piping, electrical instrumentation, and odor control facilities for the operation of the unit. THE PROJECT will be advertised a s an Invitation For Bid. Proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract. This solicitation will be issued using electronic bid sets (EBS) and provided on compact disks- read only (CD-ROM) at no charge to all registered plan holders. Any prospective offeror interested in bidding on this solicitation must register to be placed on the Plan Holders List. On this screen that is entitled, EBS Albuquerque District, click on the solicitation number you are interested in. On the following screen, find Solicitation Registration, an d click on Register For This Solicitation. If you have not previously registered, click on New User and follow the instructions for Login Information. This will require you to establish a user name and password. The same user name and password may be used to register for other projects in the system without having to repeat the entire registration process.
