Description

Food Service Contractors: Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is a non-profit institution operated by Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA) under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy and is located approximately 60 miles east of New York City. BNL is seeking a contractor for the on-site food service operation. The food services are to be operated for the benefit of approximately 2700 employees and a varying population of between 500 and 1000 visiting researchers, students, guests, and visitors. Services to be provided are outlined in the RFP and include, but not limited to, all management, administration, personnel, and other items necessary to perform all purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, food preparation, serving, cashier duties, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Key operations described in the RFP include cafeteria breakfast and lunch service, site wide catering, and evening dinner/club service. The period of performance will be five years with five one-year options.
