- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation #FA8601-04-R-0076 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03, effective 11 Apr 2005, Class Dev 2005-0001. A Fixed Price Contract is anticipated for a period of five years (base plus four option years). The Base Period of Performance is estimated 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06. Work will be accomplished according to the RFP (see Clauses), Bid Schedule, Performance Work Statement (PWS) (attachment 1 with attachement 1, 2, 3 and 4)), Service Contract Act Wage Determination No: 94- 2419, REV 26 (attachment 2), Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 (attachment 4), Addendum to FAR 52.212-2 (attachment 5) and Past Performance Questionnaire (attachement 6). The service to be acquired is for maintenance of the Industrial Water Treatment for the Wright Patterson AFB in Area+s A, B and C. The Classification Code is H146, water treatment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICs) code for this acquisition is 221330, Size Standard: $10,500,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The Request for Proposal (RFP), Performance Work Statement (PWS) and information regarding the pre-bid/pre-proposal conference (site-visit) is attached. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE SENT. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal and shall be considered. Facsimile or alternate proposals are not acceptable.
