Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Oklahoma City Medical Center, 921 N.E. 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104, intends to sole source to Cordis (Johnson & Johnson Company), 14201 N.W. 60th Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. Cordis (Johnson & Johnson Company) shall provide on consignment Cypher Stents to the VA Medical Center, Oklahoma City, OK. This proposed contract action is for the product above, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from he General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. Further, there shall be an inventory maintained within our hospital facility for stent case purposes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposal contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than June 7, 2005, to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered note 22. No E-Mail request will be accepted.
