- HANKINSON HILLS CAMPGROUND CONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION OF TWO POTABLE WATER WELLS For Item 1, the campground construction portion, this project includes construction of access roads, installation of Government-furnished cattleguards and bases, construction of campground loop roads, camping spurs, parking lots and accessible trails and walkways. Also included is construction of wood jack & pole and smooth wire fences, constructing picnic table/fire ring pads, installation of Government-furnished picnic tables, fire rings, group fire rings and benches, excavation and landscaping for Government-furnished precast concrete toilet buildings, assembling and erecting a Government-furnished shelter/pavilion building with concrete slab and support foundation, obliteration of existing roads. Item 2 includes drilling and developing two (2) potable water wells with concrete slabs and hand pumps, plugging of existing water well and removal of windmill, tank and concrete slab. The Contractor will be responsible for all labor, supervision, materials, equipment and incidentals to complete both items of this project. Price Range: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated Start Date is July 11, 2005 and will have 100 calendar days for completion of all work from the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. There will not be a formal prebid showing of this project, however, bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site prior to preparing and submitting their bid. This project will not be set aside for Small Business Concerns. Bonding is required.
