- . The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the receiving, disassembly, inspection, overhaul, reassembly, testing, preservation, packaging, and marking in accordance with USCG ELC Specification No. R-244-0198 dated 02/96, Rev. A dated 07/00, Change 1 dated 04/05 on the following : NSN 3110-01-048-0583, Part No. Double EB-2600-EX1GC, Bearing, Self-Aligning Double Roller, used on 400 FT WAGB Coast Guard vessels. Delivery shall be required 195 calendar days after award. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination to U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd., Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. It is the Government’s belief that only Cooper Roller Bearings, Ltd. or an authorized Cooper Bearing repair facility can provide the standardization of parts required to overhaul the roller bearing to insure compatibility and interchangeability with existing equipment. Technical data and/or drawings pertaining to the special tools and equipment required to manufacture the various parts are not available within the Government and are proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Cooper Roller Bearings, Ltd. or their authorized dealers. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered part (i.e. salient physical, functional characteristics), or 2) Data that offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer. See Numbered Note 22. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
