- Design and construct a single-story base operations building to include concrete slab-on-grade, exterior finish and insulation system (EIFS) above split-faced cmu veneer on steel stud exterior walls, shingle roofing, suspended tile and gypsum board c eilings, gypsum board partitions, insulating glass units w/ laminated glass, casework, interior and exterior lighting, hvac and plumbing systems, communications, electrical work, generator, automatic sprinklers, fire detection, site work, sidewalks, bitumi nous paving, security fencing, and utilities. Options include: #1 - Demolition of Bldg 7091, adding 90 days to completion time; #2 Provide Flight Records Room 103; #3 - Provide drive-thru canopy with emergency vehicle and bus parking; #4 - Provide acce ss floor system for Rooms 137-141; #5 - Provide a HC shower in each Room, 144 and 145; #6 - Additional cost to provide brick veneer rather than EIFS on exterior walls above split-faced cmu on building sides facing street/parking; #7 - Increase size of Conf erence Room 147; #8 - Additional cost to provide paver tile instead of VCT in Rooms 115 and 127-129; #9 - Additional cost to provide vinyl wall covering instead of painted walls for Rooms 101, 103, 106, 108, 110-116, 119, 122, 123, 125-138, 140-143, and 14 7; #10 - Achieve 365 day completion time rather than 450 days, including any options. The estimated value is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Documents will be available on/about 03 June 2005 and proposals are due 06 July 2005 at 4:30 PM Louisvill e local Time. This is a request for proposal (RFP). Proposals received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated for best value to the Government in accordance with the following criteria listed in descending order of importance: Contractor Exp erience, Technical Approach, Key Personnel, Project Management, Past Performance, Schedule and Price. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package.
