In addition, due to character usage errors, unwanted symbols showed in the description section of the syno psis. Therefore, the synopsis description is being republished in its entirety. Tres Rios Environmental Restoration, Flood Control North Levee Phase 1A, Maricopa County. The Flood Control North Levee Phase 1A consists of construction of approximately 1.6 miles of compacted earth fill levee annoring with 15 inch thick stone protection including 3 inch aggregate base course operation and maintenance roads, 3 invert access ramps, an approximate 1.3 mile of trapezoidal reinforced concrete channel, reinforced concrete box culverts, grouted stone, an approximate 14 acre feet catch basin, 6 agricultural side drain connections, four-wire right-of-way fence and gates, removal and disposal of debris and incidentals. Earthwork consists of excavation, compacted fill and disposal of excess or unsuitable/spoil material to mandatory disposal sites. THIS IS AN 100% 8(a) SET-ASIDE COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. Firms participating in this procurement must be 8(a) certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Please note that there are special instructions pertaining to hand delivered bids. Thes e special instructions can be viewed on the Los Angeles District Contracting Division website and they will also be available in Section 00100 of the advertised solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310, Highwa y, Street, and Bridge Construction, $28.5M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. Estimated cost range of the project is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 8, 2005. The Governm ent intends to issue this solicitation and all amendments through the use of the Internet. No additional media (CD ROMs, Floppy Disks, Faxes, or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary.
