Description

THIS WILL BE AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. The work consists of clearing and grubbing; placing silt fencing; placing and compacting levee embankment material; fertilizing and seeding, placing crushed stone surfacing on ramps and levee crown, and all other incidental work. The estimated value of this work is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about 6 June 2005, and the Bid Opening Date will be on or about 6 July 2005. The Plans and Specifications will be avail able to download from the WEB ONLY at http://www.mvn.usace.army.mil. There will be no paper copies or CDs available. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A PLANHOLDER TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PACKAGE. THIS WILL ALLOW US TO NOTIFY INTERES TED PARTIES IN THE EVENT THAT AN AMENDMENT IS ISSUED. ALL CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED IN CCR at www.ccr.gov and also in ORCA (On-Line Representations and Certifications effective 1 Jan 2005) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
