***ATTENTION***CONTACT CONTRACTING OFFICER, KIT CARLTON,AMSAM-AC-LS-T, EMAIL FLOYD.CARLTON@REDSTONE.ARMY.MIL FOR ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS CONCERNING THIS PROPOSED ACQUISITION. PRON: AX5T7148AX, NSN: 2840-01-008-7887, PN: 1-190-008-04, Quantity: 560 each, applicable to UH-1, AH-1,OV-1 ENG (T-53), with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. The Required delivery schedule with First Article Test is 560 each, 390 days after contract aw ard (DACA). The required delivery schedule without First Article Testing is 560 each, 246 DACA. This item is restricted to Honeywell International Inc., Cage Code, 99193, and Sifco Custom Machining Co, Cage Code, 13580 because this part requires engineeri ng source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). All Offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that a ll requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. No telephone requests will be accepted.
