- LEASE SPACE TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT within the Newport News Hampton, Virginia area. REQUIREMENT: The Federal Government is interested in market information on the potential of leasing office and related space consisting of a maximum of approximately 66,080 BOMA usable square feet of office space. All space must be contiguous and accessible to government employees only, multi floors are acceptable as long as they are contiguous to each other and not accessible to non-government personnel. The Government shall require outside parking space, which a portion must be dedicated to the Government (includes spaces assigned as per accessibility requirements). Public Transportation is required with a minimum of regularly scheduled stops every 30 minutes between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.; every 30 minutes between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and every hour between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. LOCATION: The delineated area is the following; North VA Hwy 171, South Mercury Blvd, East VA Hwy 172, West VA Hwy 143. OCCUPANCY: 20,000 usable square feet of the 66,080 usable square feet must be delivered and ready for occupancy no later than November 30, 2005. The balance of the space must be ready for occupancy 90 calendar days after the Contracting Officer issues Notice to Proceed. Express OF Interest Shall be submitted by May 18, 2005, 4:00pm and include the following: 1. Building name and address 2. Rentable square feet and rentable rate per square foot 3. Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet and BOMA usable rate per square foot.
