- The purpose of this notice is to provide updated information on the DOE National Training Center (NTC) Request for Proposal (RFP). This competitive acquisition will be a 100% 8(a) set-aside procurement under NAICS Code 611430, with a size limit standard of $6 million. The RFP is now scheduled to be released on or about May 16, 2005. After release of the RFP, DOE will hold a pre-proposal conference and NTC site visit in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for interested 8(a) firms only, tentatively scheduled for May 25, 2005. Registration instructions for interested 8(a) firms will be included in the RFP release. Attendance will be limited to no more than three representatives from each 8(a) firm or 8(a) team. Following the pre-proposal conference, a list of attending 8(a) firms will be posted on this IIPS site. PLEASE NOTE: Registration is required for the pre-proposal conference and site visit. Only U.S. citizens with proper identification will be permitted to attend the pre-proposal conference and site visit. A certification statement signed by an Officer of the 8(a) firm will be required to validate that each individual attending the pre-proposal conference and site visit is a U.S. citizen. This certification will be required on the registration form. Additionally, a list of prohibited items and additional instructions will be provided upon registration. The RFP may be downloaded from the DOE-IIPS website when it becomes available. Instructions on how to register and submit a response can be found in the help document located on the DOE-IIPS website listed above. TELEPHONE OR ELECTRONIC MAIL INQUIRIES MADE DIRECTLY TO DOE REGARDING THIS NOTICE AND THE RESULTING RFP WILL NOT RECEIVE RESPONSES. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor this DOE-IIPS site for the release of any additional information, amendments to this notice, solicitation, or other related documents. To assist in this process, it is suggested after interested parties have registered on DOE-IIPS to click-on the button entitled, Join Mailing List and fill-out the required information to receive automated notifications.
