- This IS a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (Sources Sought Synopsis & DRAFT Statement of Work for Industry Comment). This IS NOT a SOLICITATION. SOURCES SOUGHT: The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking sources capable of conducting a Mental Health Treatment Study (MHTS) demonstration that will test the extent to which eliminating programmatic work disincentives, establishing an accurate diagnosis, and delivering appropriate mental health and employment supports will lead to better employment outcomes and other benefits among Title II beneficiaries with a primary impairment of schizophrenia or affective disorder. If you feel your organization has the corporate capability and expertise for performing this type of service, provide the following information VIA EMAIL ONLY: (1) organization name, address, email address, website address, point of contact and telephone number (2) corporate capability statement (not to exceed 2 pages) that includes a brief narrative(s) on experience of the same size and scope as described in the attached Statement of Work (SoW). STATEMENT OF WORK (SoW) FOR INDUSTRY COMMENT: In an effort to release a comprehensible and viable SoW and accelerate the acquisition process, SSA is requesting industry questions and comments on its attached DRAFT SoW. Please review the documents and advise on the following: (1) Is your organization interested in submitting a proposal? (2) Are there any concerns or areas of uncertainty, which in your opinion, require clarification or correction? (3) Are SSA's requirements clear and explicable? Where can improvements be made? (4) Do you have any other questions or comments? SSA plans to release a presolicitation announcement on FEDBIZOPPS in May 2005 and a solicitation immediately thereafter. Contract award is anticipated by Sep 30, 2005. Any questions should be submitted via EMAIL ONLY (no phone calls please) to the Contracting Officer at bridget.hamel@ssa.gov. This Request for Information does not constitute a request for proposals and submission of any information based on this request for information is purely voluntary.
