- DESC: This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Puget Sound and Alaska which includes all DoD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the States of Washington and Alaska are in the process of standardizing THERMOMETERS am nd associated consumables. Companies who currently possess or are willing to obtain a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) for this product are eligible to participate in the standardization proces s. Please respond by email to: Tonya.Millar@amedd.army.mil and Bill.Kinney@amedd.army.mil and provide your company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax, email address, DAPA Number (if applicable), Solicitation Number and answers to the belo w listed questions are due no later than the response date of this notice. The information we are seeking for the standardization of patient thermometers includes, but is not limted to, the following: - Provide your full product line of patient thermometers and associated technology to include expendables and associated warranty. - Provide the clinical specifications which differentiate your product from other similar products in the marketplace (ie., display, weight, accuracy, security devices, patient safety, user feedback mechanism, single/multi-use technology). - Please indicate if you are a manufacturer or distrbutor and under what brands your products are distributed. - Please provide the standards your patient thermometers meet, ie., ASTM. - Please provide information related to product recalls and/or backorder(s) and the reason(s), dates, cause and resolution. What support will you offer in the event of a product recall and/or backorder? - Indicate what inservice or training you might offer. - Indicate your ability to provide customer support to hospitals in Washington State and Alaska. - Indicate your DAPA number if applicable.
