Description

The Capital District Contracting Center (CDCC) intends to issue an IFB resulting in the award of a Regional Bituminous Concrete and Paving requirements contract or contracts for the following Installations: Fort Belvoir, VA, A.P. Hill, VA, Fort Meade , MD, Fort Hamilton, NY. The work may consist of resurfacing, full depth reconstruction, and new full depth construction of bituminous concrete and portland concrete pavements to include roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks. This requirement will be soli cited under competitive 8(a) award procedures based on contractors located in the designated areas of Region II restricted to NY, and Region III restricted to Richmond, VA, Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Delaware, Philadelphia, and Pittsburg, PA, and West Virginia. A firm-fixed price requirements contract is contemplated for this acquisition. The magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000.00. The period of performance will be a base period of one (1) calendar year, plus four (4) one-year option periods, if exercised. The NAICS is 237310. The size standard is $28.5 million. A pre-bid conference with industry will be held on May 31, 2005, at 1100 hours, at Fort Belvoir, VA, 1ST FLR Conference Room. Prospective bidders must be registered in th e DoD Central Contractors Register (CCR) database prior to award of a government contract. Bidders are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. All interested sources are responsible for frequent review of the ASFI/FedBizOpps websites to ensure that they are kept current on any applicable documents added after the IFB is issued. The IFB will be issued on or about May 16 2005, and can be accessed a t the ASFI or FedBizOpps websites. The Bid opening date is July 1, 2005.
